Brian McArthur-Muscroft

Brian McArthur-Muscroft is IQ-EQ’s Group Chief Financial Officer, based in London.

Brian is responsible for the financial wellbeing of IQ-EQ and contributes to its strategic decision-making, supporting the Group’s strategic and operational aspirations through phases of growth, change, acquisitions and refinancing.

Professional – Personal

Prior to joining IQ-EQ, Brian was Chief Financial Officer for financial intelligence innovator Qontigo. He was also formerly the Group Chief Financial Officer for Micro Focus International plc, a FTSE100 global infrastructure software company.

Brian was CFO at Paysafe Group plc and led the business to a FTSE 250 listing on the LSE Main Market in December 2016, followed by the successful sale of the business to Blackstone and CVC in 2018. Before Paysafe, Brian was Group Finance Director at Telecity Group plc where he led the successful IPO of the business.

An esteemed professional in his field, Brian was chosen as Business Week’s Finance Director of the Year in 2017 and 2013 and ICAEW’s FTSE 250 Finance Director of the Year in 2021. A restructuring specialist, Brian was the interim CFO on the successful turnaround of MCI Worldcom EMEA. He is also a NED and Chair of the Audit Committee at Capita Plc. Before joining Capita, Brian was a Non-Executive Director at Robert Walters plc.

Brian holds a law degree and qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London.

Outside of work, Brian is a big fan of speed, with hobbies including skiing, motocross racing and cars. He also loves spending time with his wife and their five children.
