We’re pleased to highlight our role in supporting a major Irish residential investment platform, acting as alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) to the fund underpinning the transaction.
We worked closely with our clients and key stakeholders to facilitate the evolution of a large-scale real estate structure, ensuring strong governance, regulatory oversight and continuity throughout a period of significant change.
Our support included enabling the transition of the joint venture partner, coordinating closely with APG, Kennedy Wilson and the CWTC Multi-Family ICAV, and working alongside their legal advisers to deliver a smooth and efficient restructuring process.
“This transaction highlights the strength of our team in supporting complex real estate structures,” said Tim Kelly, Client Relationship Director, Ireland at IQ‑EQ. “By working closely with our clients and their advisers, we were able to support a smooth transition of the joint venture, navigate regulatory requirements and help position the platform for long-term success.”
The underlying platform is focused on delivering large-scale residential development across Dublin as part of a joint venture between Kennedy Wilson and Dutch pensions group APG. For full details of the transaction, read the Irish Times coverage.
