IQ-EQ is pleased to announce Dean Douglas as its new Head of Private Wealth for Jersey.
Dean has been with the Group for over 20 years, taking on a range of different senior positions during this time. Joining as a newly qualified accountant in 2002 for one of the legacy businesses which now make up IQ-EQ Jersey, Dean has gained significant exposure to private wealth structuring from both an accounting and administration perspective, taking on several senior roles and growing teams across client accounting and administration departments.
After ascending to Client Services Director by 2016, Dean then joined the board of IQ-EQ Jersey in 2020. In his most recent role as Client Relationship Director, Dean has played a huge part in nurturing our new and existing relationships with key clients, particularly in South Africa where his regular travel and deep market understanding have strengthened our business development initiatives.
As Head of Private Wealth for Jersey, Dean will assume responsibility for IQ-EQ’s 85-strong team of private wealth specialists in the island and, building on his existing local senior leadership team membership, will also join the global leadership team of IQ-EQ’s Private and Institutional Asset Owners service segment. Dean is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Commenting on Dean’s promotion, Nicola Gott, Managing Director of IQ-EQ Jersey, said:
“It gives me great pleasure to announce Dean as our new Head of Private Wealth. He’s been a key part of our business for more than 20 years and his exceptional knowledge and experience make him ideally suited to this important jurisdictional leadership position as we continue to develop our private wealth business in Jersey. I look forward to working more closely with him as we progress through 2025.”
