IQ-EQ manager elected President of The Chartered Governance Institute, Isle of Man branch

We are delighted to share the news that Christopher Bolt, Assistant Corporate Administration Manager in our Isle of Man office, has been elected President of the Isle of Man branch of The Chartered Governance Institute (TCGI).

Formerly known as the ICSA, TCGI provides professional development, guidance and thought leadership for their international membership of governance professionals. TCGI also works with regulators and policy makers to champion high standards of governance across all sectors.

In his new remit, Chris will be working alongside other branches of TCGI to ensure a consistent and applied approach across all areas of the organisation, as well as working with the institute on the development of new programmes, products and reports.

Chris has long been an active member of TCGI, having qualified as an Associate in 2006 and subsequently as a Fellow in 2013. He has also been a long-standing member of the Isle of Man Council, serving as Treasurer and Vice Chairman from 2016 until this latest election.

With a finance career spanning four decades, Chris has gained extensive experience in the offshore fiduciary services industry since moving from the UK to the Isle of Man in 1997. Chris joined us in 2010 and, given his expertise in commercial property, is primarily responsible for providing expert fiduciary support to a UK real estate fund manager and their four real estate funds.
