We are pleased to announce that Greg Kok, Managing Director of IQ-EQ Guernsey, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Guernsey Investment Fund Association (GIFA) and subsequently appointed as Treasurer.
Greg’s election to the committee and appointment as Treasurer recognises his extensive experience in the fund industry and his commitment to supporting Guernsey’s position as a leading international finance centre.
Bringing 27 years of financial industry experience to his new committee role, Greg has worked with global firms across multiple jurisdictions including the UK, Bermuda, Singapore, Vietnam and Luxembourg. As a chartered accountant with significant expertise in running fund management businesses, Greg currently serves as a director on numerous corporate and fund boards.
Since joining IQ-EQ in 2022, Greg has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic vision. Prior to this role, he was Group Head of a global alternative investment fund management company with operations in Luxembourg, Guernsey and Ireland.
Before relocating to Guernsey, Greg was actively involved in industry organisations in Luxembourg, including the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), the Luxembourg Institute of Directors (ILA), and the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV). He also held the position of Co-Chair of ALFI’s Management Company Steering Committee.
Greg’s previous experience as Treasurer and Board Member of the International School of Luxembourg further demonstrates his financial governance capabilities and community commitment.
