Transforming global asset manager Patria’s KYC/KYA processes through proprietary technology

The client, their challenge

Patria – a leader in alternative asset management – needed to streamline and enhance their know-your-customer (KYC) and know-your-agent (KYA) processes, which were manual and inefficient. They knew this challenge would only grow as their business grew.

With a relationship spanning more than 20 years, we’d developed deep insight into Patria’s operational needs and challenges. We worked closely with their team to identify and deploy the right technology solution to address their challenges and support their growth ambition.

Our solution

The complexities of investor and investment data management and compliance requirements necessitated a tailored, technology-enabled solution that could deliver immediate impact.We worked closely with Patria to deploy our MaxComplyTM software, which provides clients with a robust platform for managing their KYC and KYA activities while ensuring that all necessary information is current, compliant and at their fingertips.

This included automating investor KYC processes for new fund launches and putting in place a rapid turnaround KYA process to enable an efficient investment process.

For Patria’s investors too, there’s the added benefit of greater protection over their personal data, with a clear process that’s fully secured and communicated via MaxComply. So, personal documents that might typically feature in the KYC process are uploaded directly to the tool without fear of emailing the wrong person.
