Our client, a large global investment firm, faced significant challenges with outdated fund administration processes that couldn’t keep pace with their growth ambitions. Their legacy accounting systems created significant operational bottlenecks:

After a comprehensive request-for-proposal (RFP) process, IQ-EQ was selected for our robust technical capabilities and effective communication throughout the engagement.
Our solution
We implemented a modern technology infrastructure centred on two key platforms:
- Snowflake – a cloud-based data warehouse, enabling secure data storage and analysis
- IQ-EQ Cosmos – our proprietary portfolio monitoring platform, powered by Snowflake data, allowing clients access to their investment and accounting books of record across their full portfolio
This technology foundation transformed the client’s accounts production processes by improving data flow and accessibility, enabling better-informed investment decisions. We also developed user-friendly, investor-facing portals that enhanced investor reporting capabilities and automated the onboarding process.

The implementation was truly a global effort, bringing together IQ-EQ expertise from Northern Ireland, the U.S., Singapore, France, Luxembourg, India and the Philippines.
