Mark Voumard

Mark Voumard is Managing Director, Head of Fund Platform and Solutions for Asia and the Middle East at IQ‑EQ, with over four decades of experience across Asian financial markets.

Mark joined IQ‑EQ following the acquisition of Gordian Capital in July 2025, where he was Founder, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. During his time there, he was involved in the structuring and launch of over 100 funds across hedge, private equity, venture capital, real estate and private credit since 2005.

Before establishing Gordian Capital Singapore in 2005, Mark co‑founded Teneo Partners Japan Limited in 2003, a Tokyo‑based, fully licensed securities company and Japan’s premier placement agent. Over the course of his career, he has focused on managing sales teams specialising in Japanese, European, Asian and US equities and equity‑linked products, working with institutional investors and hedge funds across Japan, Asia, the US and Europe. He has also held roles with firms including Baring Securities, Paribas, W.I. Carr, D.E. Shaw and KBC Securities Japan.

He is registered with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Registered Representative and holds an authorised corporate representative licence under the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). He was appointed in 2021 by MAS and continues to serve as an Executive Committee Member and Co-Chair of the Promotion and Advocacy Working Group of the Singapore Funds Industry Group (SFIG), a collaboration between MAS and the Singapore funds industry.

Mark has lived and worked across Melbourne, Zurich, Tokyo, London, Hong Kong and Singapore, including 20 years in Tokyo, and is a fluent Japanese speaker.
