From 28-30 October 2022, two IQ-EQ teams tackled the traditional FNB Wines2Whales mountain bike race from Lourensford Wine Estate to Oak Valley Estate, and then on to the whales of Hermanus. Aptly named after the wines of the area.
The Chardonnay is the most popular of the three events as it takes place over the first weekend of the 10-day race period and offers riders the chance to be among the first to experience the brand new trail sections they have created just for this year’s events.
Louis Greyling, Country Delivery Director, South Africa commented: “The spirit of the FNB Wines2Whales is “gees” – truly South African phrase that is only understood once experienced. Our two teams did really well, having to battle extreme heat and rain over the 3-day race. But what an awesome experience it was for all of us and not to mention the amazing people we met along the way. Thank you IQ-EQ for giving us the opportunity to represent you at this amazing event!”
