Some of our colleagues in IQ-EQ Jersey used their charity volunteering day to support Jersey Trees for Life in a zone at Val de la Mare reservoir. Their tasks included clearing the brambles and weeds and removing ivy from trees to help the development of future zones and continued tree planting.
Jersey Trees for Life is the only charity that is dedicated solely to the protection and preservation of trees on the island. Their aim is to encourage the protection, preservation, and planting of trees throughout Jersey and to foster an appreciation of trees through community education for their amenity, ecological and other values.
