We are proud to announce that IQ-EQ has been awarded ‘Best Fund Administrator: Private Equity Funds over $20bn’ in the Africa Global Funds (AGF) Service Providers Awards for 2019. This is the second year running that the Group has taken home this title.
The AGF Service Providers Awards seek to recognise the outstanding efforts and accomplishments of a broad range of firms servicing Africa’s funds industry. Winners are determined by an impressive panel of industry experts including representatives from leading African investment managers and development finance institutions as well as the Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA).
This award win reflects the significant strengthening of our reach and service offering in Africa over the past year. We have increased our headcount in the region by over 25% and now offer a full suite of fund services to the African private equity sector.
Collecting the award was Managing Director of IQ-EQ South Africa, Charles Buchanan. He said:
“Winning this award for the second year is a welcome testament to our stellar reputation and growing prominence within the African funds sector. Over the past year, we have continued to invest in our regional footprint and service offering, including strategic senior appointments and a new office opened in Kenya, and have enjoyed a number of significant new business wins as we keep building our network in the region and delivering top-quality service.”
IQ-EQ Group Head of Funds, Justin Partington, added:
“This past year has been one of exceptional growth and transformation for IQ-EQ. We completed an ambitious acquisition strategy to become one of the largest providers of investor services globally and Africa is of great strategic significance to us as we continue on our growth journey. We have ambitious plans for the future, which will include continued investment in key growth markets within mainland Africa. This award is a testament to the great work of our expert staff working with our valued clients.”
