The shortlist for Citywealth’s 2020 Magic Circle Awards has been revealed and we are delighted to announce that IQ-EQ features in three categories. Not only are we a finalist for ‘Trust Company of the Year’ but we have also been recognised as software innovators, while client services director Stuart Dowding is in the running for ‘Trustee of the Year’.
The Magic Circle Awards aim to celebrate the elite of the private wealth industry. Being shortlisted for Trust Company of the Year is welcome recognition of the exceptional growth that our Private Wealth segment has experienced over the past 18 months, as well as our array of client-centric initiatives to keep enhancing our service offering.
Our shortlisting for the ‘Citywealth Software Innovators of the Year’ award specifically recognises the development of our Investor Solutions platform and ongoing investment in technology to meet rising client demands for transparency and detailed reporting on their investment activity.
Stuart Dowding, meanwhile, is based in our Guernsey office and has over 25 years’ experience in the fiduciary sector – including two years as managing director of one of the group’s legacy Hong Kong businesses. Stuart returned to Guernsey at the end of 2018, where he continues to work closely with the Hong Kong team as well as taking care of a varied private client portfolio. This latest recognition follows Stuart’s recent inclusion in the Citywealth Leaders List ‘Top 20 Trustees’.
Voting is now open and winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London on 13 May 2020.
