IQ-EQ is delighted to share that Craig Brown, managing director of our Isle of Man business, has been appointed to the board of Finance Isle of Man as the representative for the Association of Corporate Service Providers (ACSP).
Finance Isle of Man promotes and develops the Isle of Man’s significant financial and professional services industry and ensures its recognition as an international business centre of excellence.
Craig Brown is a chartered accountant (fellow) and chartered tax adviser with almost 30 years’ financial services experience, including particular expertise in asset protection, cross-border structuring and entrepreneurial business. In his role with IQ-EQ, Craig ensures that the multiple client service teams operating from our Isle of Man office work together to consistently deliver the very best in trust and corporate solutions to clients across the globe.
Craig’s career has spanned multiple diverse industries, including energy, FMCG and telecommunications. Prior to joining our group as a client services director in 2013, Craig had held a number of director-level positions within the fiduciary sector and was previously Head of Tax for a global oilfield services company. He also holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
Craig has long been an advocate of the Isle of Man as a leading international financial centre, regularly contributing thought leadership and expert insights including the 2018 and 2019 Isle of Man chapters in The Law Reviews’ Private Wealth and Private Client Review. In his new remit, Craig will work with the island’s finance industry across its key markets, helping facilitate growth, attract business, generate jobs and realise opportunities.
