IQ-EQ Crossroads 2019 to explore relationship between PERE and family offices

Today IQ-EQ is pleased to announce the launch of our second cross-industry Crossroads event for the investment community, which will act as a platform for networking and expert insight.

The exclusive event will be held in the City of London on Wednesday 27 November. The conference, titled ‘Private Equity/Real Estate Funds and Family Offices: A marriage made in heaven?’, will explore the key synergies between both industries. Bringing together PERE houses and family offices, discussions will focus on emerging trends and the impact that the broader macro-economic environment will have on each of them.

The event follows the first Crossroads event held in Luxembourg in 2018, which brought together high-profile speakers including Sir Bob Geldof, Gina Miller and Roelfien Kuijpers, to tackle the topic: ‘Can the finance industry contribute to a better society?’

Serge Krancenblum, Group Executive Chairman of IQ-EQ, has commented:

“We’re thrilled to announce our 2019 Crossroads event. The objective of Crossroads is to create a thought-provoking platform for exploring key issues within our sector, with industry experts driving the debate. The theme of this year’s conference will aim to shed light and foster relationships – and even competition – between the worlds of private equity and real estate funds and family offices.”

The day will include an impressive line-up of speakers including Dr Rebecca Gooch of Campden Wealth, Mark Florman of Time Partners, John Forbes of John Forbes Consulting LLP, Neil MacDougall from Silverfleet Capital, Robert Evans of Partners Group, Thierry Bosly from White & Case, Alain Roussel from Nomura, Tony Poulson from Allvue, Elie Chamat from Decisive, and Sir Mark Fehrs Haukohl of The Vero Group.

The event is co-sponsored by Allvue, Nomura and White & Case.
