Is private debt resilient in an inflationary environment?

IQ-EQ recently hosted a webinar in collaboration with Real Deals to discuss why private debt tends to be resilient in an inflationary environment.

The discussion centred around the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war and the effect it’s having on the global economy. Our panelists discussed the implication of rising inflation and examined the attractiveness of private debt in the current market, including the portfolio composition of equities to bonds, and the conservative stances taken by central banks around the world.

The panel was moderated by Greg Gille, Editor at Real Deals, and featured the following speakers:

  • Stefan Rolf – Global Head of Securitisation and Private Debt at IQ-EQ
  • Gemma Braithwaite – Managing Director Investor Relations at All Seas Capital
  • Xenia Saari – Managing Director at Lincoln International
