ESG Compass

IQ-EQ is delighted to have launched our new ESG virtual masterclass series for asset managers, corporates and family offices. Each episode in this series will feature different industry experts covering a range of topics relating to ESG strategy, risk management, reporting and monitoring.

Our first masterclass, held on 19 January 2021, was led by James Brice, founder and CEO of EBS Advisory, Africa's leading sustainability and ESG advisor to institutional investors.

James has conducted and/or directed over 50 environmental and social due diligence studies in accordance with the IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles. His experience spans a wide variety of business sectors and regions, including South Africa, Norway, Australia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Turkey and India as well as 23 other African countries.

During our masterclass session, James discussed ESG considerations in private equity, including topics such as building brand credibility, stakeholder engagement and mapping your ESG journey, among others.

We're now pleased to share a full recording of this masterclass, which includes a brief introduction from IQ-EQ's Group Executive Chairman, Serge Krancenblum. Click below to watch:
