IQ-EQ CFO e-Lab: Opportunities presented by the Singapore VCC

IQ-EQ’s first webinar in our new CFO e-Lab series, held on 19 May, focused on Singapore’s new variable capital company (VCC) regime, which launched in January 2020.

We were honoured to be joined by two prestigious speakers, Fumin Feng, Deputy Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and Mark Voumard, Founder of Gordian Capital; both of whom have made a signficant contribution to the creation of the VCC structure as well as its promotion both in Asia and across the globe.

Fumin provided an overview of the Singapore funds landscape and shared his insights into the development and detail of the VCC framework. Mark, as a key player in the Singapore funds industry, shared his own experience with the VCC structure and discussed its practical advantages. He highlighted that he has already launched a number of VCC structures since the start of the year.

We were delighted to have over 200 participants registering for this event and the Q&A session was very lively.

If you missed it, do not worry! We’re now pleased to share a video recording of the full session:
