IQ-EQ recently hosted an exclusive webinar in collaboration with Greenstone Equity Partners and law firm King & Spalding on best practices for UK and EU fund managers looking to raise capital in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in 2023.
The objective of the webinar was to educate fund managers on the latest best practices for raising, structuring and administering capital from GCC investors into their EU and/or UK funds in compliance with GCC regulations.
The discussion included analysis of the investor landscape in the GCC and opportunities it presents for UK or EU fund managers; options for structuring to channel GCC commitments in a UK or EU fund; regulatory and compliance considerations; and domicile selection.
