Diversity and inclusion is not just a one-time process or a `nice-to-have` box-ticking exercise for HR. If it is to be successful, a D&I strategy has to involve every aspect of the organisation’s culture and will require a concerted, sustained and demonstrable effort.
It has become more and more apparent that diversity and inclusion within workplaces can lead to diversity of thought, value creation, greater innovation and overall business success. But, how can firms ensure that they have a strong D&I strategy in place? What does this look like and what are the risks of not having a firm-wide policy of this kind?
