In IQ-EQ Mauritius, we celebrated Diwali over two days, on Friday 11 and Monday 14 November. Hindus around the world celebrate Diwali in their unique style and traditions. Diwali, also called Divali or Dipavali is derived from the Sanskrit word Dipavali, meaning row of lights. To celebrate the festival of lights, our colleagues wore colourful Indian wear and gathered in a completely transformed canteen decorated for Diwali and had a traditional ‘7 curry’ lunch. Before the lunch, there was a Diwali dance show performed by our talented IQ-EQ dancers!
