The importance of empowering our people cannot be overemphasised.

Their expertise, professionalism, enthusiasm, and passion contribute significantly to our culture and sense of purpose. The cornerstones of our people-first philosophy are our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) and our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

  • 1,900+ new people joined our business in 2023 of which 52% were women, and 56% of whom were under the age of 30
  • 558 people were promoted in 2023 with women accounting for 53% of all promotions
  • 49% of all line managers and 41% of all senior management are women
  • Our global turnover rate improved 26% YoY
  • 92% of all employees participated in our employee engagement survey in 2023 which saw our overall approval score increase by 5%

 

Connecting with our clients on a deeper level is a core aspect of our commercial offering. We’ve continued our client listening programme, hearing from over 420 clients directly. This has enabled us to better understand their needs and concerns, while also being aware of the changes and the pressures they face.

We believe that the business community has a responsibility to do all it can to cut carbon emissions and reduce the amount of energy it uses. Our aim is to transition to a net zero business by 2035, reducing negative impacts on the environment and using natural resources more efficiently.

  • 98.8% of employees completed environmental awareness training
  • 6,500kg of plastic waste will be collected by CleanHub on our behalf over the course of the next 12 months
  • 211 tCO2e  saved during the year by switching to, or continuing to use green electricity.

In 2023, we were proud to be awarded a gold medal from EcoVadis, a leading platform that assesses the sustainability performance of companies across 175 countries and 200 industries annually. This prestigious recognition positions us in the 96th percentile of the 120,000 companies audited. The EcoVadis framework is based on several international sustainability standards, including the UN Global Compact, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), ISO 26000 standard, International Labour Organisation (ILO), and CERES Roadmap.
