Sustainability thinking is embedded in our organisational DNA, extending far beyond traditional ESG frameworks to encompass every aspect of how we operate and grow. Our approach recognises sustainability in its broadest sense – not as a compliance requirement, but as a fundamental philosophy shaping our identity. From client relationships and technological solutions to succession planning and recruitment, for us environmental, social and governance principles aren’t separate initiatives – they’re natural extensions of our core values.
Our 2025 report has evolved to focus on three core pillars – People, Planet and Governance – with a client lens applied across each area, reflecting how our stakeholder relationships are integral to every aspect of our sustainability journey. This approach showcases our long-term strategy for creating lasting value, outlining how we integrate sustainable practices across all operations by asking how each decision impacts our business, people, clients and communities for years to come. The importance of empowering our people cannot be overemphasised.
Their expertise, professionalism, enthusiasm and passion contribute significantly to our culture and sense of purpose. The cornerstones of our people-first philosophy are our commitment to inclusion and our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
2024 highlights:
We believe that the business community has a responsibility to do all it can to cut carbon emissions and reduce the amount of energy it uses. Our aim is to transition to a net zero business by 2035, reducing negative impacts on the environment and using natural resources more efficiently.
2024 highlights:
We value strong governance – we strive to uphold the highest ethical standards, manage our risks and protect our stakeholders’ data. We recognise that we have a responsibility to embrace sustainability. For us being a responsible and sustainable business means we will, as much as possible, reduce our environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk in our operations.
2024 highlights:
As we’ve grown exponentially, we’ve established strategic Group partnerships that enable us to deliver comprehensive sustainability solutions and take meaningful action on critical global challenges.
Through our partnership with Gold Standard, we’ve offset over 15,000 tCO₂e across seven verified carbon offsetting projects in India, Mauritius, Panama and Nicaragua. These projects span solar farms, wind turbines and biogas systems, supporting 10 UN Sustainable Development Goals while advancing community development, including female education programmes in rural areas.
Our collaboration with CleanHub addresses the global plastic crisis, having prevented 6,500kg of plastic waste from entering our oceans in 2024. We’re committed to preventing at least 10,000kg annually moving forward, while simultaneously creating employment opportunities and supporting local skills development in vulnerable coastal communities.
Through Eden: People+Planet, we’ve planted over 130,000 trees by the end of 2024, with plans for a further 69,000 in 2025. This partnership supports carbon sequestration, ecosystem restoration and biodiversity while creating fair-wage employment in regions affected by poverty and deforestation.
In 2024, we achieved an overall score of 73 in our annual EcoVadis sustainability assessment, positioning us within the top 6% of over 130,000 rated companies globally. This recognition from a leading provider of business sustainability ratings demonstrates our commitment to ongoing improvement and transparency in our sustainability practices. The EcoVadis framework is based on several international sustainability standards, including the UN Global Compact, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), ISO 26000 standard, International Labour Organisation (ILO) and CERES Roadmap.
