Sridhar Nagarajan

Sridhar Nagarajan is IQ-EQ’s Regional CEO for APAC, based in Singapore.

Sridhar brings a distinguished 30-year career to his role as Regional CEO of APAC for IQ-EQ, with a proven track record in strategic leadership, financial acumen and transformative management. As well as being Regional CEO, Sridhar is also Managing Director of our Singapore business.

Professional – Personal

Since joining IQ-EQ as Regional Managing Director in 2019, Sridhar has been instrumental in the success of our Africa, India and Middle East operations from his previous base in Mauritius.  Even prior to IQ-EQ, Sridhar had established himself as a visionary leader and a turnaround expert.  Previously serving in prominent roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Sridhar played a pivotal role in the financial sector in Mauritius, notably overseeing the successful merger and turnaround of two state-owned banks, culminating in the establishment of Maubank Ltd.

Sridhar’s contributions extend beyond corporate realms, with active involvement in industry bodies such as Mauritius Finance, of which he was a founding member and board member.  Additionally, he chaired committees focused on SME development, international banking and corporate governance, reflecting his commitment to industry advancement and ethical practices.

A strong advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), Sridhar leads the DE&I Sub-committee of the National Committee on Corporate Governance. As a people-centric leader, Sridhar has championed the development of diverse and high-performing teams, fostering an environment of innovation aligned with best practices.

Sridhar holds an MBA in Finance & Marketing and a degree in Engineering.

Outside of the office, Sridhar is an avid golfer who also enjoys gardening, caring for his pets and playing speed chess. He loves to read on diverse topics such as economics, history, defence and spirituality.
