Our Manila team recently gathered for their townhall, to spotlight fantastic teamwork and results from across the team this year. It was also an opportunity to celebrate and have fun together. Almost 1,000 colleagues enthusiastically welcomed members of our leadership team, including Group COO, Joanna Macleod; Continental Europe Regional CEO, Diana Senanayake; Global Head of Client Delivery, Sean Douglas; and Regional COO for Continental Europe, Samuel Kuborn.
The highlight of the event was a discussion led by Maria Katrina Chaingan, Philippines’ Senior Training Manager, where leaders shared valuable insights on topics ranging from leadership and business to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), as well as the crucial role of women in leadership and achieving work-life harmony.
The townhall served as a platform to celebrate the Philippines’ remarkable success over the past year. A shining example of this success was the culmination of the STEP-Up program (Standout Talents Empowerment Program), where employees from various levels seized the opportunity for upward mobility. The graduates, acknowledged for their hard work, were proudly presented during the event.

Representatives from supported organisations, Life Haven CIL and Project PEARLS, graced the townhall to receive financial support thanks to various initiatives of the Philippines’ CSR Committee. These contributions will help them assist people with disabilities and ensure the children they support can have better lives.
In a demonstration of our Employee Value Proposition, two remote sites were opened this year, providing employees in Cebu and in the southern area of Luzon the convenience of working onsite without extensive travel. Both sites were also showcased through a video presentation during the townhall.

The celebration continued with a showcase of Filipino culture through performances by folk dancers. Our guests were active participants, immersing themselves in the joyous occasion.

And what’s a Filipino celebration without a grand finale? The townhall concluded with a spectacular flashmob, uniting all attendees in a synchronised dance, epitomising the spirit of unity and collaboration within the Philippines team.
This Manila townhall was more than a corporate gathering; it was a mosaic of success stories, cultural vibrancy, and shared accomplishments – one which left an indelible mark on the collective spirit of our Philippines team and our guests.
