Christiaan van Houtven

Christiaan van Houtven is IQ-EQ’s Senior Advisor, based in Luxembourg.

Christiaan is responsible for shaping and implementing Group strategy while supporting our people through operational excellence across the business.

Professional – Personal

Following a master’s degree in applied economics from the University of Antwerp, Christiaan gained a further master’s in international marketing from UMNONS. He also holds an MBA from Vlerick Business School. Christiaan’s career includes experience as a finance director in Belgium for Aon, a NYSE listed insurance broker and consulting firm. He has also held COO and CFO roles at PwC in Belgium.

Christiaan is instrumental in supporting the Group’s strategic acquisitions by bringing our people and our operations together to provide an integrated and seamless service offering. As COO he oversees front and back office operations and directs performance management initiatives as well as process and organisation re-engineering projects. He is heavily involved in business development, brand and marketing initiatives across the Group.

His leadership style facilitates a culture of accountability and empowerment, as well as personal and professional development, within IQ-EQ.

Originally from Belgium, he is a Dutch native speaker and is fluent in French, English and German.
