We are delighted to announce that IQ-EQ is now a Platinum accredited ACCA Approved Employer across all our locations. This is the highest and most prestigious level of approval and is testament to our high standards of employee training and professional development.
ACCA is a professional accounting qualification that’s awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the most widely recognised international accountancy body. There are 7,500 ACCA approved employers worldwide and IQ-EQ are one of only 88 companies to hold the platinum accreditation.
Commenting on this announcement, Teresa Lamy, IQ-EQ’s Group Chief People Officer said, “The need for professionally qualified, highly skilled leaders is more important than ever. We all know that providing service excellence is key to our business and so we are proud to uphold the highest standards when it comes to training, development and career progression. ACCA plays a key role in supporting and developing the skills we need but it also opens doors to a flexible learning experience, as well as international mobility. As a global business we offer the very best opportunities and support available and we’re delighted to receive the ACCA platinum accreditation as a testament of our commitment.”
Many of our people in IQ-EQ are at different stages of their ACCA accreditation journey including Russell Green and Megan Tate, both of whom have kindly shared some insight into their ACCA experience at IQ-EQ.
“The support I have received from IQ-EQ along the way has been tremendous and has made a huge difference. Not only have they provided me with the support required for success with my exams, but also made available access to courses and given me the time needed to focus, which have been of great benefit and assistance for me in achieving the results I have gained so far.” - Russell Green, Client Services Senior Accountant (London).
“Current events have highlighted just how important it is to have access to study material remotely and the opportunity to study flexibly at your own pace and convenience. Despite the pandemic I have been able to continue my studies and haven’t had to put the completion of my qualification on hold.” - Megan Tate, Client Services Assistant Accountant (Belfast).
As a business we place significant emphasis on training and have a dedicated full-time team looking after the training and development needs of our teams right across the group, so it’s hugely rewarding to see this investment in time and resources pay dividends.
