On 23 July 2024, the Honorable Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman presented her first Union budget 2024-25 after this year’s election.
Key priorities of the budget include employment, skill development, MSMEs, the middle class, and overall prosperity. The budget also outlines nine priorities for creating chances for everyone and makes detailed recommendations for the reforms and activities needed to achieve Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
