Private market CFOs face mounting pressure from increasingly sophisticated Middle Eastern investors who are setting new global standards for transparency and governance. With 55% of CFOs reporting substantial operational adjustments in just the past year to meet LP demands, the stakes have never been higher.
Writing for Finance World Magazine, I examined why predictive analytics – already embedded in public markets – remains underutilised in private markets, and how the Middle East’s tech-first ecosystem positions it to lead this transformation.
From anticipating liquidity constraints to identifying emerging opportunities, predictive analytics enables CFOs to move from reactive reporting to proactive decision-making. Yet while 43% of PE firms globally recognise its value for deal sourcing, only 3% are actually leveraging it.
The path forward requires robust data infrastructure, cultural commitment to digital adoption and investment in analytics talent.
