(Senior) Onboarding Officer

Job Description

As a (Senior) Onboarding Officer, you will streamline the onboarding process of new clients, process centralized system changes, screen business partners, and improve the data quality in our systems in general. You’ll be highly organized, pay close attention to detail, and know your subject matter as you will help make sure that our operations run smoothly and that our systems and files are up to date.

The (Senior) Onboarding Officer:

  • Assures that all steps in the onboarding process are taken, the CRM system workflow is followed, and our systems are properly filled.
  • Performs ad hoc WorldCheck and bad press checks.
  • Sets-up delivery teams in our systems and includes the service level agreements.
  • Processes centralized system changes relevant under our regulations.
  • Monitors that other milestones (aside from onboarding) in our clients’ lifecycles are processed properly in our systems.
  • Reviews the compliance hits generated by the screening software, marks false hits, and distributes positive hits within operations, while safeguarding follow-up by the relevant teams.
  • Initiates and executes data quality remediation and (data) quality improvement projects.
  • Maintains close contact with all stakeholders in the onboarding process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • 2-5 years of working experience
  • Experience in AML/KYC or Compliance is a great asset
  • Fluent in English
  • Self-motivated, long term team player
  • Effective communication skills
  • Skilled in prioritizing, multi-tasking, planning and working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Independent, accurate and able to organise work
  • Able to handle some of the work being partly repetitive
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Word and Excel
