Senior Officer, Private Wealth

Job Description

THIS ROLE 

We are looking for a Senior Officer, Private Wealth to join our dynamic team, supporting the administration of international trust portfolios. This role involves delivering accurate, timely financial services and top-tier client support, while working closely with senior management to ensure excellence in private wealth administration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You’ll manage international trust and corporate portfolios, stepping in for senior team members when needed and ensuring exceptional client service.
  • You’ll apply your technical expertise in trust law, taxation, and regulatory compliance to consistently deliver accurate and efficient results.
  • You’ll foster a collaborative, client-focused culture - mentoring peers and engaging constructively across teams.
  • You’ll commit to your professional development, meeting CPD requirements and actively seeking feedback to sharpen your skills.
  • You’ll stay vigilant on risk and compliance matters, confidently guiding others and ensuring all activities meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU 

  • You hold a relevant professional qualification such as CGI or STEP Diploma and are an active member of a recognized professional institute, with a strong commitment to continued professional development.
  • You bring at least 5 years of hands-on trust administration experience and possess solid knowledge of the finance industry in Guernsey, along with a strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities.
  • You demonstrate outstanding organizational, analytical, and numerical skills, and can prioritize tasks effectively while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in both written and spoken form, and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • You’re confident using Microsoft Office tools, thrive in a collaborative team environment, and consistently meet client expectations with flexibility and professionalism.
