Senior Officer, Private Wealth

Job Description

In this role, you will leverage your strong trust administration skills, industry knowledge, and ability to work under pressure to support our clients and contribute to our team's success.

What You'll Do

  • Perform a wide variety of Trust administration tasks accurately and in a timely manner for the Company's international client base.
  • Provide high-quality internal and external client service, ensuring accurate and timely financial administration.
  • Support the Senior Management Team with day-to-day administration of private client portfolios, adhering to Company policies and procedures.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and activities to meet individual and team objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the team and across all Teams locally to ensure a collaborative approach.
  • Maintain and enhance technical knowledge, ensuring CPD requirements are met and staying abreast of industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements, reporting any risk issues or suspicious transactions promptly.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies, providing constructive feedback on client administration matters.
  • Develop commercial awareness and industry knowledge to identify business opportunities and support client retention.
  • Assist with project work and additional administrative tasks as required by the business.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring -

  • ICSA or STEP Diploma qualified or other relevant professional qualification
  • Member of a relevant Professional Institute
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development
  • Knowledge of the Finance Industry in Jersey
  • Flexible and effective team player
  • Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent Trust administration skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of Fiduciary duties and responsibilities
