Senior Manager – Fund Administration (Private Equity)

Job Description

In this role, you’ll work closely with top-tier real estate fund clients, leveraging your expertise in alternative investment fund accounting and complex fund structures. You’ll oversee global fund accounting operations in collaboration with offshore teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. As the primary client-facing representative, you’ll manage relationships, lead service delivery, and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What you’ll do

  • You'll support client relationship leads by managing fund accounting and financial reporting for multiple Real Estate funds across diverse industry sectors
  • You'll oversee daily operations, ensuring client expectations are met and deliverables are completed on time in line with Limited Partnership Agreements
  • You'll interpret partnership agreements to maintain compliance with financial reporting standards and allocation methodologies
  • You'll manage and review complex accounting tasks, including journal entries, investor allocations, capital transactions, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
  • You'll lead communication across teams and service providers, mentor junior staff, and drive operational efficiency while tracking KPIs to ensure alignment with client and business goals

  • The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($95,000-$140,000). 

Qualifications

  • You bring 5+ years of progressive experience in alternative investment funds, public accounting, or a combination of both.
  • You apply strong analytical and technical skills in fund accounting, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preferably Investran.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and consistently deliver accurate, high-volume work with attention to detail.
  • You provide exceptional client service through professional communication and effective collaboration with teams and external partners.
  • You manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and support team development by offering and receiving constructive feedback.
