Job Description
**Please note: This role will be a dedicated resource for one of our premiere clients. The candidate is required to be onsite, 5 days a week, at the client’s Stamford, Connecticut office**
What you’ll do
- You have extensive experience working with a wide range of financial instruments, including:
- Equities, fixed income, bank debt, and repurchase agreements
- Derivatives such as options, swaps, and futures
- Foreign exchange, including spot and forward contracts
- You specialize in Profit and Loss (PnL) calculation for these instruments
- You bring deep expertise in waterfall calculations for both American and European structures, including:
- Complex management fee calculations
- Performance allocations and incentive fee modeling
- You have a solid understanding of Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) structures, including:
- Tax implications
- Distribution mechanics
- Regulatory considerations

- The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($135,000-$160,000).
Qualifications
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
- You bring 8+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with strong expertise in fund accounting, financial reporting, and prior in-house experience.
- You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with Geneva reporting systems, and a solid understanding of hedge funds and private equity structures.
- You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills for client relationship management.
- You work full-time in-office, showing professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial services.
