Senior Lead Data Analyst

Job Description

THIS ROLE:

In this role you will be the primary technical expert responsible for validating extracted/ collected data and ensuring quality standards. You will serves as the ultimate subject matter expert for the team, leading technical decisions and process innovations while providing authoritative guidance on data collection and extraction 

THIS ROLE:

  • You will assists in review of extracted/ collected data using prescribed guidelines and guidance 
  • You will ensures integrity and consistency during the extraction process and maintain accurate and timely processing of data extraction/ collection 
  • You will liaise with internal stakeholders,  addressing queries and issues and ensure compliance with relevant standards, statutory requirements and internal policies·         
  • You will establish and maintain technical best practices and mintain strong knowledge of client-specific requirements·         
  • You will drive technical excellence and innovation in the processes and lead development of technical standards and methodologies within the team 
  • You will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining the data accuracy shown in the client reports and/or dashboard

TASKS: 

  • You will do the final review, and delivery of reporting for various clients’ portfolios within agreed timeframes 
  • You will review ETL – Extract data from PDF documents, web forms, and Excel templates; Transform into applicable format; and Load into relevant data repository 
  • You will do the initial observations to clients and ad-hoc analysis/reports to relevant stakeholders per client requirements 
  • You will document exceptions and prepare error reports together with review findings, proposing corrective actions and preventive measures            
  • You will coordinate with team under AOS or clients on deadlines and deliverables, planning and assigning workload within the team        
  • You will represent the team in cluster/client meetings and internal discussions and address complex client issues and transactions, making decisions on proper treatments and escalating when necessary·         
  • You will improve extraction processes in order to save time or simplify the extraction process and/or improve the quality of extractions 
  • You will monitor and ensure the resolution of all review comments and queries within agreed timeframes·        
  • You will assists in client onboarding activities and any change request related to the above tasks        
  • You will monitors client deliverables as stipulated in the SLAs, as pre-agreed with each client 
  • You will track work progress through timesheet completion ·         
  • You will help minimize risk to IQ-EQ by ensuring all procedures, checklists and audit requirements are followed and complied by all team members

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU: 

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, computer science, information systems, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field 
  • You have minimum 6 years of relevant experience data analysis with exposure to data visualization software (ie Tableau, Power BI), ETL processes (via SQL or Snowflake), and Macro/VBA  
  • You have proven track record of serving as a subject matter expert in data analytics

  • You have a comprehensive knowledge in data extraction tools e.g. web forms, unstructured data extraction tools  
  • You have a comprehensive knowledge in MS SQL / Data Warehouse – joins, unions, group by etc  
  • You have a comprehensive knowledge in data storytelling and visualization best practices 
  • You have intermediate Microsoft Office skills with a particular focus on Excel skills 
  • You are skilled in reviewing and analyzing complex transactions and operational procedures 
  • You have good analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • You have an exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality assurance 
  • You have the ability to maintain accuracy and compliance with established a standards 
  • You can effectively review and validation skills, ensuring high-quality deliverables 
  • You have a strong collaborative mindset, able to support team initiatives and contribute to best practices development 
  • You should have “Can do” attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines, work under pressure and lead by example
