Senior K2 Developer

Job Description

As a result of continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior K2 Developer to join our global team, to deploy the latest enterprise portals and provide support for line of business applications developed using K2, SharePoint etc.

The K2 developer is required to be able to work with business analysts and technical teams to help design and build K2 applications and to help mentor entry level developers.

Relationship building with stakeholders across business and IT department will be essential, as will understanding pain points and devising solutions, ultimately leading to a deep technical knowledge of the platforms used and input into the development roadmap and driving best practices

  • You’ll actively communicate technical issues impacting client delivery, ensuring clarity in high‑pressure situations and contributing effectively to discussions, design sessions, and requirement reviews.
  • You’ll design, develop, and maintain K2 applications—including prototypes, databases, content management components, and automation solutions—while supporting QA and infrastructure teams, ensuring compliance with coding standards, and managing the K2 applications backlog

Qualifications

  • You hold a graduate degree (preferably IT‑related) and ideally possess K2 certification, with at least 7 years of IT experience including 4+ years in K2 application development.
  • You have strong expertise in building smart objects, forms, views, workflows, custom brokers, and custom K2 UI using JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS, along with hands‑on experience in K2 5.7, branding, and serialization/deserialization concepts.
  • You are proficient in integrating K2 with enterprise systems such as SQL, SharePoint on‑prem, SAP, SOAP/REST APIs, DocuSign, and have solid experience in SQL Server development (tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers) and PowerShell scripting.
  • You are familiar with tools such as ShareGate, Azure DevOps, JIRA/Confluence, and the K2 Package & Deployment tool, demonstrating excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • You thrive in fast‑paced, multicultural environments, bringing strong professionalism, integrity, decision-making ability, and full proficiency in written and spoken English (additional European languages are an asset).
