Senior Fund Accountant

Job Description

THIS ROLE 

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with other Accountants, the back office team, and the Management Team to handle day-to-day accounting tasks for client portfolios. You'll be responsible for providing timely responses to Fund Accounting queries and identifying any risk issues that arise.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You’ll ensure client ledgers are accurate and complete by reviewing accounting transactions with precision and timeliness
  • You’ll prepare and assess financial statements, management accounts, and NAV calculations, aligning with both accounting standards and client expectations
  • You’ll generate capital accounts for Limited Partners and support fee calculations for performance and management, keeping everything audit-ready
  • You’ll provide expert guidance on accounting issues to clients and administrators, while escalating concerns when needed to maintain service integrity
  • You’ll play a vital role in hitting team and individual targets, contributing to a culture of accountability and high performance

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU 

  • You hold a recognized accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification
  • You bring a solid understanding of the Finance Industry, which helps you navigate its complexities with confidence
  • You’re comfortable using Microsoft tools—including Excel for calculations, Outlook for communication, and Word for documentation
  • You apply your knowledge in practical, results-driven ways that support decision-making and reporting accuracy
  • You stay sharp by continuously learning and adapting to industry trends and tech tools
