Senior Associate – Real Estate Operations

Job Description

As a Senior Associate – Real Estate Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the operational oversight of a portfolio of real estate funds. You will work closely with clients, legal advisors, administrators, depositaries, and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of fund operations, governance, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund operations professional looking to develop their expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What you will do

  • You will manage the day-to-day operational activities of a portfolio of real estate funds, ensuring high-quality client service and the timely delivery of key fund operations.
  • You will oversee fund administration activities, including NAV production, investor reporting, capital activity, financial statement reviews, and the annual audit process.
  • You will review legal and fund documentation, coordinate with legal advisors, administrators, depositaries, and other service providers, and support governance requirements across the fund lifecycle.
  • You will monitor fund activity, including cash flows, investment restrictions, acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, and other operational transactions, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • You will build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while contributing to process improvements, operational excellence, and the continued success of the Real Estate Operations team.

Qualifications

  • You have 3–4 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or fund operations, ideally within the real estate sector.
  • You have a strong understanding of fund operations, accounting principles, financial statements, and the fund accounting, valuation, and custody process.
  • You have experience managing client relationships and working effectively with internal teams, administrators, depositaries, auditors, and legal advisors.
  • You possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You are a proactive and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence.
