Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting

Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations; investigate breaks.
  • Book entries in the accounting system (enfusion)
  • Monitor, book, and reconcile bank debt activity.
  • Fund expense reporting and payments
  • Report to the front office and management (e.g., risk reporting, margin, financing)

Monthly Responsibilities:

  • NAV review. GL, PL, and position reconciliations
  • Liaise with the fund administrator throughout the month-end process. Reconcile the NAV pack and investor statements

Ad-Hoc: 

  • Regular client reporting
  • Financial statement tie-outs: be responsible for reconciling source data against financial statements

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

 

  • At least 3 years and above of fund accounting experience (private equity, hedge fund, or similar types of products)
  • Financial statement experience and review are a must.
  • Hedge fund knowledge and exposure are advantages.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions such as pivot, index/match, vlookup, etc. Knowledgeable in macro is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
