Job Description
You'll play a key role in our Client Services Accounting team, providing a variety of accounting and administration tasks to support the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the accounting of a portfolio of international clients.
- Preparing accounting records under IFRS, management reports and financial statements within the agreed deadlines as requested by the client whilst being diligent and alert.
- Preparing and submitting VAT and VIES returns within deadlines.
- Liaising with the auditors for the timely completion of the audits.
- Supporting the client administration and execution of payments, within deadlines as requested by the client.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and intermediaries.
- Working closely with the accounting, banking and corporate teams, supporting each other to meet client needs.
- Ensuring successful implementation of changes which improve operational practices, as agreed with the Client Service Directors.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, service standards, company policies and procedures and agreed operational and control processes.
Qualifications
- Proved experience in a similar position, at least 3 years.
- ACA or ACCA or other university degree will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language
- Strong Analytical skills (use of excel spread sheets)
- Good financial reporting skills
- Well organized and able to prioritize and comply with deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in constant communication with little supervision.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a strong working team culture.
