Sales Director – DCMC Specialist

Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for IQ-EQ by creating and closing new sales opportunities, expanding market share, and strengthening client relationships across your Cluster. This is a senior, highly visible role where you will work closely with Commercial Directors, Client Service leaders, and the Senior Leadership Team to deliver sustainable growth in line with the agreed Cluster Commercial Plan. 

What you will do

  • You will build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of new business opportunities while driving upsell and cross-sell initiatives across an existing client portfolio
  • You will develop and maintain a robust network of prospects and business partners to generate consistent and high-quality sales opportunities
  • You will identify, optimise, and progress sales opportunities using market insight, competitor analysis, and a deep understanding of IQ-EQ’s products and differentiators
  • You will lead and coordinate complex, multi-jurisdictional sales proposals, working collaboratively with internal deal teams to deliver an exceptional client experience
  • You will drive cross-border and cross-service line opportunities, supporting clients as they expand into new jurisdictions serviced by IQ-EQ
  • You will participate in large and strategic opportunities from initiation through to closure, developing account growth plans for key and high-value clients
  • You will meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline generation and revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting and CRM data

Qualifications

  • You have a minimum of 7 years’ experience within the Financial Services industry, ideally with exposure to private markets
  • You have a proven track record of delivering sustainable and profitable sales growth in high-pressure, senior sales environments
  • You have a strong industry network and deep understanding of products across Debt & Capital Markets
  • You have experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional sales processes and solution-based selling across multiple service lines
  • You are self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders
  • You have excellent relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills, with confidence engaging clients and partners at all levels
  • You are comfortable attending industry events and conferences and are flexible to travel regularly as part of the role.
