Risk and Compliance Officer

Job Description

You will provide support to the attainment of the overall objectives of the Risk and Compliance Function. You will assist in conducting AML/CFT risk assessment of all products, technology, and business practice at IQ-EQ Switzerland and Belgium, from the GCD Cluster.

You will assist the Switzerland and Belgium Clusters in conducting compliance monitoring and/or risk reviews in accordance with the annual Review Planner and reporting process for onward communication to the reporting lines and Senior Management

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management: Identify, assess and prioritize risks across all areas of the company’s operations. Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to mitigate identified risks. Monitor and report on key risk indicators to Switzerland and Belgium management and stakeholders.

Risk and control activities : Conduct regular spot check across various business operations to assess compliance and established policies, procedures and regulations. Plan and execute compliance audits in accordance with the audit schedule and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement quality assurance controls to ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of data and information used for compliance purposes.

Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures. Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance.

Policy Development and Implementation : Develop and implement company-wide policies and procedures to promote risk awareness and compliance. Provide guidance and training to employees on risk management and compliance matters.

Incident Management: Respond to incidents of non-compliance or breaches of risk management policies and procedures. Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present risk and compliance reports to Switzerland and Belgium Compliance teams.

 


Qualifications

  • Legal or compliance degree from reputable university directly related to compliance functions with sufficient work experience to compensate.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the financial services sector in the Risk Management and Compliance functions
