Officer, Funds & Institutional

Job Description

We are looking for an Officer to join the Funds & Institutional team in Jersey.

What You'll Do - 

  • Perform a wide variety of Fund administration tasks accurately and in a timely manner to support the Company's international client base.
  • Act as a role model to junior Team Members, demonstrating the Group Values and commitment to excellent client service.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the Company's policies and procedures, industry best practices, and relevant laws relating to Fund administration in Jersey and other related jurisdictions.
  • Work collaboratively with Team Members across all departments to ensure efficient client administration and exceed client expectations.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing various documents, including payments, minutes, resolutions, checklists, and investor capital calls and distributions.
  • Monitor client bank accounts, clear assigned workflow tasks, and maintain proper and orderly client records.
  • Contribute to team objectives, key performance indicators, and project work as required by the business.
  • Maintain a high awareness of risk factors, addressing such risks and escalating when necessary, while ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely responses to compliance queries and report any suspicious transactions or complaints.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet client expectations and oversee tasks performed by junior Team Members.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring - 

  • Understanding of the Finance Industry
  • Desire to study towards ICSA Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration or ACCA
  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively in a team, multi-tasking under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
