Job Description

THIS ROLE

This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration and servicing of bank loan assets, ensuring the accurate onboarding, processing, settlement, and ongoing management of loan transactions. Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing loan documentation, maintaining accurate loan records within administration systems, managing daily cash and accrual transactions, performing reconciliations, and supporting the full lifecycle of loan trades through settlement. The position requires close coordination with brokers, agent banks, counterparties, borrowers, lenders, trustees, and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and exceptional client service. Additionally, the role involves preparing and distributing loan reports, adhering to established procedures and risk controls, identifying process improvement opportunities, and demonstrating strong knowledge of loan products, operational processes, and technology platforms to support efficient and accurate loan servicing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You'll review and analyze loan documentation, onboard new assets, and accurately input and maintain loan information within loan administration systems.
  • You'll manage day-to-day loan operations, including processing cash and accrual transactions, making payments, and performing daily position and cash reconciliations.
  • You'll support the full lifecycle of loan trades from trade capture through settlement, coordinating with ClearPar, brokers, agents, and counterparties to ensure timely execution.
  • You'll investigate, resolve, and escalate loan processing inquiries while collaborating with clients, internal teams, borrowers, lenders, trustees, and agent banks to deliver responsive service.
  • You'll prepare and distribute loan reports, follow established procedures, contribute to process improvement and risk management initiatives, and demonstrate strong product, process, and technology expertise.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

  • You bring 3-5 years of experience in financial services, with exposure to loan operations, banking, corporate lending, audit, or consulting environments.
  • You hold a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, supported by strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • You demonstrate a proactive mindset, strong accountability, and the ability to independently research, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • You excel at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, effectively managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
