Job Description
THIS ROLE
- Asset onboarding including review and analysis of loan documentation
- Accurate inputting and processing of all relevant loan information into the loan administration software
- Day-to-day asset management including booking cash or accrual transactions, making payments, and performing daily position and cash reconciliations
- Lifecycle support of loan trades from the time the trade is posted until settlement including the prioritization of trades that need to close
- Responsible for daily settlements of bank loans, including interfacing with ClearPar, Brokers, Agents, and Trade Counterparties
- Timely resolution and escalation of all inquiries and issues related to loan processing
- Liaising and coordinating with external clients and internal client services teams to ensure timely responsiveness and resolution to inquiries
- Liaising and coordinating with external third parties such as other Loan Administration team, Borrowers, Lenders, Trustees and Agent Banks
- Review and distribute loan reports as agreed with clients
- Follow established procedures related to loan documentation/processing activities and make recommendations to support process improvement and risk management
- Demonstrate a sound level of understanding of products and processes, both within Loan Services and other IQEQ related services
- Demonstrate a sound level of understanding of how duties relate/integrate with others in the team and closely related teams in IQEQ
- Demonstrate product and technology proficiency

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- 3-5 years’ experience in financial services with background in consultancy/audit, loan operations, banking, or corporate lending, an advantage
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Proactive with strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to collaborate with team members within and outside of own team
- Can work well under pressure and multi-task with a sense of urgency
- Ability to independently research and resolve problems
- Solid Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Meticulous, diligent, willing to learn
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Willing to work adjusted hours if EU/US coverage required
