Job Description
THIS ROLE:
As an Officer 1, Payment, you will provide a high-quality service to the Client Services Teams, helping to ensure all payments are processed accurately and within expected deadlines. You will obtain sound knowledge of the data administration process, and develop the key skills required to become a reliable member of the team. You will administer banking admin requests on various banking platforms as requested.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- You will prepare basic financial statements and NAV calculations and other deliverables using prescribed guidelines with guidance
- You will support daily fund accounting operations following established procedures and maintain accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions
- You will follow quality control processes and risk mitigation efforts and develop knowledge of client-specific requirements and deliverables
- You will process daily bookkeeping entries using designated accounting systems, capital calls, distributions, and investor notices
- You will complete and maintain detailed operational checklists and prepare basic working papers and supporting documentation
- You will record and reconcile simple financial transactions and track work progress through timesheet completion
- You will follow prescribed workflows and escalation procedures and participate in required training programs
- You will conduct self-reviews to maintain quality standards and assist senior team members with routine assignments
- You understand and use best practice on internal payment platform, and various global banking platforms.
- You understand and use best practice on the time reporting system and the process supporting administration on various banking systems.
- You will ensure relevant procedures and checklists are adhered to and completed to minimise risk of errors
- You will reports any breaches, complaints or errors to the relevant Client Services Team and Compliance officer promptly
- You will assist in the preparation of error reports, identifying areas of operational risk and proposing appropriate remedial actions within 24 hours of identifying the error

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- You work experience in a similar role and have excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
- You have intermediate Word and Excel skills and comfortable communicating with individuals in professional manner
