Job Description

THIS ROLE:

In this entry -level position you will be responsible in performing basic depositary tasks under direct supervision. You will support fundamental depositary operations including cash monitoring and asset verification activities while following established procedures and guidelines.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • You will execute basic depositary monitoring tasks and support asset verification processes
  • You will maintain depositary records and follow regulatory compliance procedures
  • You will support cash flow monitoring activities and assist with document collection
  • You will process cash monitoring reconciliations and update depositary records and dashboards
  • You will support routine report preparation; gather and organize transaction documents and assist with year-end confirmations
  • You will follow compliance checklists and escalate issues to supervisors

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and equivalent professional certifications are a plus.
  • You should have 1–2 years of relevant experience in depositary or custody functions, gained in a depositary bank, audit firm, or fund accounting role
  • You should have exposure to Private Equity and Real Estate markets is highly preferred
  • You should be familiar with regulatory compliance within the depositary environment.
  • You should have proficiency in cash monitoring reconciliations, asset verification processes, and maintenance of depositary records.
  • You should have advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Word
  • You should have the ability to follow compliance procedures and execute tasks with attention to detail
  • You should have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational issues and escalate when necessary
  • You should have effective communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with team members
  • You should have a good time management to meet deadlines during routine and year-end activities
  • YOu should be adapable and eager to learn in a fast-paced, regulated environment, A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively under direct supervision
