Middle Office Manager

Job Description

You will support hedge fund and investment management clients by managing key middle office activities such as reconciliations, reporting, and portfolio support. You will work closely with clients, prime brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role also involves supporting new client onboarding and helping develop junior team members.

What you will do

  • You will prepare daily trade and position reconciliations and investigate any breaks with clients and Prime Brokers
  • You will prepare monthly reconciliations and assist with performance estimates for client portfolios
  • You will review NAV reports, maintain fund accrual schedules, and process corporate actions such as dividends and stock splits
  • You will support onboarding of new clients and help train them on systems and processes
  • You will respond to client requests, support junior team members, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • You will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
  • You will have 5–10 years of experience in financial services, ideally within a hedge fund or middle office environment
  • You will have good knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, futures, and foreign exchange
  • You will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • You will have strong communication skills and experience using Excel and portfolio accounting systems such as Enfusion or Geneva
