Manager, Fund Accounting | Hybrid Setup | HMO on Day 1

Job Description

Job Summary:

A leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and team performance within the fund accounting department. This role manages a team of accounting professionals (Accountant 1-3, Senior Accountant, and Assistant Manager), oversees complex client relationships, and ensures delivery of high-quality accounting services. The position focuses on people management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency while maintaining overall accountability for team performance and client satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of fund accounting professionals
  • Drive operational performance and quality standards
  • Build and manage cluster and client relationships and service delivery
  • Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning
  • Direct implementation of strategic initiatives and process improvements
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Establish and monitor team performance metrics
  • Champion technology adoption and process optimization

Tasks:

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussions
  • Approve complex financial reports and client deliverables
  • Manage escalated client issues and relationships
  • Lead team meetings and performance improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators
  • Oversee workload distribution and resource allocation
  • Review and approve staff scheduling and time management
  • Lead client onboarding and transition projects
  • Facilitate client review meetings and presentations
  • Coordinate with other departments on service delivery
  • Monitor compliance with policies and procedures
  • Lead change management initiatives
  • Review and approve team training plans
  • Oversee system implementation and optimization
  • Conduct regular service delivery reviews
  • Perform other related duties as assigned for role and business needs

Qualifications

Must haves
•    CPA or at least 6 year's relevant experience working in the Fund Accounting field
•    Experience in managing service operations and managing client deliverables
•    Experience in managing staff and conducting appraisals
•    Experience in preparation and review of Financial Accounts with notes
•    Excellent organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
•    Comfortable communicating with Senior Management
•    Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with a particular focus on Excel skills
•    Can do’ attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines, work under pressure, and lead by example.
•    Must be willing to attend onsite training and onboarding for the first three months of employment.
•    This position is only open to Philippine citizens.
 

 
Our current work set-up is Hybrid Work from Home wherein you need to be in the office at least 2 to 3 days a week and the rest is WFH. To qualify you must have a stable internet connection (DSL/Fiber with at least 25mbps).
