This Role
A Private Equity Manager oversees fund accounting, financial reporting, team performance, client delivery, and stakeholder management while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant service delivery.

What You Will Do

  • You'll review and approve NAV calculations, financial statements, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting for private equity funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • You'll lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams through performance management, reviews, feedback, and effective workload allocation.
  • You'll manage client relationships and stakeholder coordination, ensuring service excellence, timely deliverables, and prompt issue resolution.
  • You'll oversee risk management and regulatory compliance by enforcing procedures, strengthening controls, and resolving errors, breaches, and escalations.
  • You'll drive operational efficiency and business growth through process improvements, resource planning, system optimization, and support for fund onboarding and migration activities.

Qualifications

About You

  • You hold a degree in Accounting or a related business discipline, with 8+ years of relevant accounting experience and at least 4 years of supervisory experience managing teams, reviewing performance, and conducting appraisals.
  • You have proven experience managing service operations and client deliverables, with strong expertise in fund accounting, preferably within private equity, including the preparation and review of working papers, financial statements, disclosures, and related financial reporting.
  • You possess strong technical knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and US, UK, and Luxembourg GAAP, with demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • You are proficient in Investran/Paxus, Microsoft Office applications, and advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and IF statements, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and an additional foreign language.
  • You bring additional value through CPA/ACCA qualifications (preferred), experience within Financial Services, Shared Services, or multinational environments, and the flexibility to support global travel and international secondment opportunities as required.
