Manager, Fund Accounting

Job Description

Lead and manage private equity fund accounting and administration activities while driving business growth and team development, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of NAV, financial reporting, capital call and distribution processes. The role focuses on reviewing complex client work, overseeing onboarding and system migrations (Investran/Paxus), monitoring team performance against KPIs, and fostering strong collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, the successful candidate will coach and develop team members, ensure balanced resource allocation, and maintain compliance with internal policies and procedures.

What you'll do

  • You'll review financial statements with disclosures and handle complex ad hoc reporting requirements for funds and corporate clients.
  • You'll ensure timely and accurate team deliverables, intervening as needed while maintaining compliance with procedures and statutory standards (e.g., SSAE).
  • You'll develop deep expertise in client-specific requirements and provide technical and non-technical guidance and coaching to team members.
  • You'll drive team capability development by delivering feedback, supporting training initiatives, and encouraging continuous professional growth.
  • You'll collaborate with stakeholders, manage escalations, uphold client service standards, and act as an alternate for the Head of Delivery when required.

Qualifications

  • You hold a degree in Accounting or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
  • You have strong experience managing service operations, client deliverables, and team performance, including conducting staff appraisals.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of IndAS, IFRS, and US, UK, and Luxembourg GAAP, with proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and disclosures.
  • You bring hands-on expertise in fund accounting, including preparing and reviewing working papers, and preferably have experience with private equity funds and Investran/Paxus systems.
  • You demonstrate strong technical and communication skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, IF functions), fluency in English (plus an additional language), and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
