Loan Analyst

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for the role of an experienced  Loan Analyst  to join our Loan Administration Services Team. Our team provides loan portfolio administration Services to our debt and credit clients.

Responsibilities 

  • Assist in management of a portfolio of loan administration clients and responsible for the delivery of high quality service to each of the clients assigned to them.
  • Assist with onboarding of new loans onto servicing platform.
  • Communicating and implementing any updates and/or operational changes as necessary with clients and team
  • Communicates effectively with clients and associated parties on loan portfolio activities.
  • Assist with building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and liaising with these parties on a frequent basis.  
  • Ensuring agreed client service levels are met.
  • Responsible for accurate system input and client reporting
  • Asset onboarding including review and analysis of loan documentation
  • Accurate inputting and processing of all relevant loan information into the loan administration software
  • Day-to-day asset management including booking cash or accrual transactions, making payments, and performing daily position and cash reconciliations
  • Timely resolution and escalation of all inquiries and issues related to loan processing
  • Liaising and coordinating with external clients and internal client services teams to ensure timely responsiveness and resolution to inquiries
  • Liaising and coordinating with external third parties such as other Loan Administration team, Borrowers, Lenders, Trustees and Agent Banks
  • Review and distribute loan reports as agreed with clients
  • Follow established procedures related to loan documentation/processing activities and make recommendations to support process improvement and risk management
  • Perform special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required

 

Required Experience

  • Third level qualification in Business (or similar)
  • Minimum 3-years’ experience in financial services, with background in consultancy/audit, loan operations, banking, or corporate lending, an advantage
  • Proactive with strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to collaborate with team members within and outside of own team
  • Ability to independently research and resolve problems
  • Solid Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Meticulous, diligent, willing to learn
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Experience in debt and credit systems.
  • Experience with Allvue would be an advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen and work ethic
