ob Summary:
A entry-level/ mid-level accounting position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services with minimal supervision. This role handles both low and medium complexity funds, focusing on core accounting processes and standard cluster communications. The position requires independent execution of established procedures while maintaining quality and timeliness standards.
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare fund accounting reports and other deliverables using prescribed guidelines and guidance
Maintain accurate and timely processing of fund accounting transactions
Follow quality control process and risk mitigation efforts
Develop knowledge of client specific requirements and deliverables
Responsible for entering and maintaining the accurate data shown in the client reports and/or dashboard
Tasks:
Prepares fund accounting activities and calculations
Assist in the provision of ad-hoc analysis of accounting reports
Ensures complete information, data, supporting documents, etc are received for the preparation of the needed requirements To acknowledge or to escalate the completeness of the information, data, supporting documents, etc
Process required data into the system and delivers consistent and quality information within the agreed timeframes
Ensures dashboards match with client data sources (accounting tool, excel files, PDF documents), coordinates with developers for any issues/bugs, conducts UAT on dashboard functionalities
Assists in client onboarding activities and any change request related to the above tasks
Complete and maintain detailed operational checklists
Track work progress through timesheet completion
Follow prescribed workflows and escalation procedures
Participate in workshops and required training programs
Conduct self-reviews to maintain quality standards
Assist senior team members with routine assignments
Support in overseeing and managing incoming communication from the other AOS team members/Client/Investor’s
Cross-functional collaboration within the international organization and with other departments on service delivery
Perform other related duties as assigned for role and business needs
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Professional Experience:
0-2 years of experience in performance and analytics, fund accounting, financial reporting, or similar roles with a focus on complex portfolios
Skills and Key Behaviours:

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with a particular focus on Excel skills

Good time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a structured work environment
Willingness to follow standardized workflows and adapt to client-specific requirements
